Food For the Soul

What an amazing weekend!  It has been a very long time since I've laughed that hard and I loved every second of it!  Don't tell my kids, but I was NOT ready to come home!  It truly was a time of recharging and most definitely...food for the soul!

I have been able to meet so many amazing women through our journey of adoption, and could never have imagined that my life would include friends all over the country!  I certainly would have never expected to travel to the "frozen tundra" of Minnesota in the winter!!  lol...

Here are a few pics of our time together:

We braved the cold to take a pic in front of this enormous fish :)  Don't ask me...I just do what I'm told :)Walleye-9248-3

I finally got to meet Mr. Handsome (Di's sweet hubby) in person.

and spend some time with these 4 princesses whom I adore :)

Cant wait to do it again girls!!!

If you'd like to follow these amazing women's blogs, you can find them here:
Paige and Jody (Jody and Paige wrote much better posts about the weekend :), and of course Di.  In fact, when you visit Di, please consider helping Pearl River support some amazing children in China!!  You could help change a child's life (and have a chance at some amazing prizes)!!!!

So glad you were able to have such a fun weekend with your besties. Yahoo for girls weekend. I think getting away once in a while makes us much better moms.

Very cool! Yeah, we all need those little times away to recharge ourselves... and that didn't look like winter at all yet. I grew up in Buffalo, it's mild up there at the moment! heh
