If These Are Labor Pains....

...then I WANT MY EPIDURAL!!!!
It seems, if it's not one thing...it's another. The good news is that there are consulate appointments available for us to leave on the 21st. The bad news is that USCIS (my favorite government office) hasn't sent my updated immigration form to another agency that uploads it for China to see. I can't get a consulate appointment without that updated form!!!! Aaaahhhhhh!!!!!
I have called my trusty contact at our congressman's office and they are working on it right now, but....REALLY?!?!?!?!?!? I need it to be uploaded by the end of the work day so the consulate will get it when their work day begins in a few hours. When I finally get on that plane to China, I might just have to sob tears of joy. It amazes me that any of us actually make it home with a baby!
Keep praying!!!!

Oh, Lord - I am nauseous just thinking about it - seriously! It seems like satan attacks you right until the final minute when you're on that plane (and unfortunately, probably afterwards too) - but it is SOOO worth it. One look into Wesleigh Jane's eyes & you will forget it ((and be ready to start the whole process again!))

So, CrAzY - you can't buy your plane tickets for SURE yet??

Girl...I feel your pain!!! Sometimes it feels like it just really isn't going to happen...and then it does. You buy your tickets, the day comes and you finaly get on the plane. We'll keep praying for each step to fall into place and for you to have peace about it all.

Hi, I just found your blog from Diana's. Congrats on your beautiful daughter. I can't wait to follow your journey while you travel to get her. So sorry for your "labor pains." I went through them twice as well, LOL. :)

Go ahead and get those precious little clothes out of that closet and into a suitcase... Wesleigh ... Mommy is on her way :)

It is so hard to wait when you are looking at the photo of her little face 100 times a day. I know honey, just hang in there. You will get to her and bring her home.
