The Big Reveal

Hopefully, I didn't make you wait so long that you'll be disappointed. Here is Wesleigh's room. I am proud to say that I did every single bit of it myself (well, except hanging the chandelier)! It was so much fun to see it come to life.
One reason it's taken me so long to post is that I can't seem to get the pics just right. The lighting makes it really hard. Oh well...

Enjoy!

I've been spending this rainy day washing clothes and starting to pack. Very exciting!!
9 Days 'till Gotcha Day!!!

Oh, Jennifer - I can just see you rocking Wesleigh and reading her a book from her adorable shelf! I love the natural light in WJ's room - that means, great for pictures!

The window pane you did is PERFECT - what would have done without it?? It's amazing. The other frame - the polka dot one - what's that for? I would love to make some cork boards - and I LOVE that frame and what you hung it with - SO girly!

I can't believe in 9 more sleeps you will be holding the child of your heart. So happy for you,

~Sara

Beautiful! Love the colors and little details. Good thing you have a deadbolt on the door - our little ones always try to go outside themselves!

Oh Jennifer! It all came together perfectly. Like others have said...I can picture you sitting in the glider with little Wesleigh comforting her and reading to her:) Did you end up ordering the chandelier from that place? Hope that all worked out. The stencil looks great with the dots too. They complement each other. Wesleigh has some GREAT books waiting for her too.

Praying for you and counting down the days....I will call you Mon or Tuesday:)

THE JOURNEY TO HANNAH said...

I love the colors Jennifer. The chandelier adds such an elegant touch. I would love to put one of those in Hannah's room but I think we are going with a ceiling fan, when Michael gets time to put it up. I wasn't quite sure what color curtains to put in Hannah's room b/c the dark mauve is so unique and I was afraid that the see through curtains would allow too much sun in during the day. Anyway, looking forward to Thurs. See you soon.
