Finally...A Little Christmas Cheer

I feel like I've totally missed out on the Christmas season this year because I was gone for so long.  I hate that.  I was really looking forward to doing lots of fun things with the girls this year.  That list has been cut down to just a few.

All of these pictures are awful!  They are either at night or inside where I am horrible...SO frustrating!!

We took everyone to a local house here who goes all out for Christmas.  They've been setting out a huge display longer than I've been alive!  I remember going to the Messengers when I was a little girl.  Wesleigh was so excited she could hardly stand it. Gracie, on the other hand, is still nervous with anything having to do with Santa. She does NOT want Santa coming to her house :) It's a good thing we didn't have our Santa party this year! Then last night was the girls' Christmas program at school. Gracie missed 2 weeks of practice so I was a little concerned she would turn into a clown. She did the opposite, and cried the whole time! She can definitely turn on the waterworks when she wants to! She would stop and sing for a while and then look over at us and start all over again. Wesleigh, on the other hand, loved every second of it and sang every song. She was adorable and only lifted up her dress about 100 times!

I am so disappointed with this picture!! UGH!!! Christmas Program 2011 (1 of 31) Christmas Program 2011 (4 of 31)

This was taken when they were walking in. We were on the 3rd row and she started to come in the row to me. I had to fuss and tell her "no". Everyone around me thought that was pretty funny :) Christmas Program 2011 (12 of 31)

This next picture about sums it up! Christmas Program 2011 (14 of 31) Christmas Program 2011 (15 of 31) Christmas Program 2011 (17 of 31) Christmas Program 2011 (23 of 31)

She is so stinkin' cute! After it was over I asked her if she heard Gracie crying. She laughed and said, "Yes, Gwacie cwying...Dediegh singing" Christmas Program 2011 (27 of 31)

Cade got to see his 4yr. old pre-school teacher last night. How cute is she?? Cade is taller than she is!! She is the sweetest thing ever and I'm planning on both girls having her next year :) Christmas Program 2011 (31 of 31)

OK...that's all I can do tonight. I can't bear to look at any more bad pictures tonight!!

Go check out my friend, Jennifer's blog!  They're in China!!  If you missed her story, a couple of years ago, she googled "brick floors" and it brought her to my blog.  God planted the seed of adoption in their hearts AND THEY'RE IN CHINA!!  They've got Molly, who is just precious, and I am thrilled!!

I love the girls in their red outfits. I can't believe how long Wesleigh's hair has grown. I hope you get to as much Christmas fun as you can! Merry Christmas to you and your beautiful family.

Wow! The house in your top photos is amazing.
And poor Gracie in tears. But one day she will laugh at these photos.
Great job to little Wesleigh :)

It's amazing how only God can use 'brick floors' to bring one of HIS home to their forever family. I follow Jennifer's blog too...and Molly is just precious...Praise the Lord for brick floors!

Oh my goodness - I can only imagine how precious it was to see the girls' performance! Sweet Gracie - is she dramatic?! I Love that WJ kept lifting up her dress - at least her panties were covered when she was sitting down - I almost peed my pants at the girl a few kids down :-)

ALL these photos are precious I think!! From the crying one to the raised dress!!! I literally LAUGHED OUT LOUD!!! Look on the bright side, at least Wesleigh was better than the other little girl who sat a little "awkward" to reveal her panties!! Boys are no better, my 3yr old grandson raised up his cute Christmas sweater and rubbed "thumped on his stomach" to EVERY Christmas song they sanged. My daughter was mortified. I said "well at least he is on beat"!!!:) Besides, I think he has the cutest belly button ever!!!

Our BTDT, the first time my daughter sang with her pre-K class after coming home she cried too and kept repeating, "I just want to go home with you" over and over again until we realized she was remembering how they used to line the kids up in the orphanage and make them sing for various folks coming thru the orphanage. Kind of broke my heart. Blessing to you and your sweet family. Thanks for sharing!

I love the picture of Wesleigh looking up at the crowd behind her! I can only assume she was looking at her sister. I don't know why, but that is such a DARLING picture:)
I love their outfits too. Adorable!
