So today was the first day in a long time that we have all been home together without some big event. I have really been looking forward to it. We went this morning to run some errands. One of which was the golf store. Braden is the saver in the family, and he wanted to buy a new golf club with some of his money. He has been driving me crazy about it all week, but that was a Daddy job. I wouldn't have any idea what to get. While we were in there, this man was watching the boys and finally asked if they were all mine. It amazes me how many times I am asked that question. Like having 3 boys is unbelievable! I think it may be because they are closer in size than actual age. They were being pretty good until Cade jumped on Braden and they knocked a golf bag down. Richard made them sit on the floor in the middle of the store. They are well behaved, but very active. Even when they're being "good", they're still wild.
We then went to visit Richard's grandfather in the retirement home. He is 90 years old. He loves the boys, but they make him very nervous. They were sitting around the corner in some chairs minding their own business and someone who works there came to tell me that they were throwing food. Are you kidding me? Ends up, Bryce and Cade were throwing a little piece of french fry, left over from McDonalds, back and forth. Nothing on the floor. One little piece. Sorry lady, it takes alot more than that for this mom to get bent out of shape. Let me know when they knock the TV over or start tackling and punching each other!
I love having all boys. I can remember being upset when we found out that Cade was a boy. I really wanted him to be a girl. Of course, I got over that, and LOVE that he was a boy. He happens to be the craziest one, and adds excitement daily. As excited as I am to add a Chinababy to the mix, I'm a little worried that I won't know what to do with her. I'm sure we'll figure it out. But for now, I'll just deal with falling golf bags and food fights!

Boy, oh, boy! That sound like my typical day. I combat it by taking them to the pool. Then I get a couple hours of peace.
From another mom with three boys and now a girl (from China) - yep, never fear, you'll figure out how to act with a girl!!!! And it's TOO fun!!! I'm sure you really weren't worried, but I had to chime in and let you know that you'll JUST LOVE it!!!
LOL!!! I only have one boy and I love him with every ounce of my being, BUT one is enough for ME!!! :D Of course, I have a VERY active boy (is there such a thing as not so active boy?!). Even at almost 14, he still keeps me on my toes. Boys don't really grow up, they just get bigger, at least that has been MY experience with the male species in my life. Gotta love em! :D
oh good post. I had a boy Ryan who is now 15, then I wanted to adopt a little boy SO badly, and after 3 years of different roads came upon the road to my Jacob who is now 6. While adopting Jacob Danny suddenly out of the blue said why not a little girl too? and the country Guatemala allows this in their requirements so they came home very close to one another. I also had no clue I thought, as to what to do with a girl. I looove being a mommy to my girls! I am sure you can see it in my posts. There is a special blessing that comes from being a mom to each, you love them all, but with the boys there is this special love and with the girls a special love. Very distinct for me.
Thanks for stopping by to say Hi. I love being a Mom to 3 boys but I really want a little girl. I just need to convince my Hubs (which is not presently working).
Thanks for your nice comments.
You are singing my song.......
As a mom to 3 boys I know exactly how you feel. I am getting very nervous adding my girl in the mix, I know how to mom boys and this little girl is about to come rock my world and I can't wait! I ordered her first bow to match my sons high school baseball uniform the other day!!!!
Your blog is great, I enjoy reading it!

I love having boys too. I was disapointed about my third being a boy, but now he is the light of my life - I'm lucky though, he's my easiest. I too worry about how a girl will fit it. It's so much fun with the boys. But I really want to experience raising a girl too. I know how you feel!
