I haven't quite decided if I like this Lilypie counter or not. I think it's really cute, and I know it makes it nice to see how far we've come. But that's just it, we're not very far at all! If the counter isn't up there, I don't think about how long it has been everyday. That way, when I do, I feel like we've made some progress. With the counter, everyday is charted:
2 months, 2 weeks, 1 day
2 months, 2 weeks, 2 days..........
It's enough to make me loose it! Maybe if we had an end goal, but not even knowing how long it will take makes it much worse!
I am hoping that it will become part of the background that I won't notice anymore, or maybe I'll move it to the bottom. I don't know.

I didn't realize you were so early into your wait. The counter would make me crazy too. Are you NSN?
I can't see it for some reason.
I have a ticker that I change all the time -- used to say waiting for LOA, but now it says waiting for TA. Seeing the little "bursts" of time makes me forget that it's actually been one_long_time.
