Had a Ball!

I have mentioned here before that Bryce joined the US Naval Sea Cadets in the summer. This program is amazing and we are so proud of him. Last night we got to attend their first Military Ball!! This was Bryce's "first date" and because of the circumstances...his parents went along! He took a good friend of his, Grace, and we had a really good time. Bryce looked so handsome in his dress blue uniform and Grace looked so pretty.

(OK...can I just say...these shoes rocked!! I LOVE them and they were so comfortable! They also made me taller than Bryce again!)

Bryce received two awards. He got his 1 year of service award and the marksmanship with sharpshooter award.

The "dance" portion of the night was outside. It was 45 degrees!! FREEZING in this part of the world ;) Grace did put her coat on after these pictures...poor thing! Richard took the outdoor pics because I'm too much of a wimp!!

So cute...they've been friends since the 4th grade.

How fun! You look AMAZING!! I noticed the shoes right away :) Bryce looks very handsome. Glad you guys had a fabulous night. You have a great picture of the 3 of you from it!

You guys all look great. I had to laugh about it being cold at 45 degrees. In Ohio now highs are in the low 20's and night lows are below. We got up to 35 a week ago and we thought we were having a warm spell. Enjoy the Christmas season.

YOU LOOK GORGEOUS!!!!! LOVE those shoes girl!!!!! Okay my favorite photo is the 6th one. So natural and so telling too. Bryce really looks like Richard in these shots.

Glad you had fun and your little sweater looked great with the dress.

congrats to him!! job well done.

His date is darling and you look awesome:)shoes are darling as well.

maybe the key to all kids dances is to have it outside when it is cold and it keeps them from dancing and being too close:)
