We lost power tonight, and although the temperatures were rising quickly inside and we were missing the olympics, the kiddos made the best of it.
Cade made the girls a fort and they took turns telling stories. I'm so glad I grabbed my camera because I absolutely love these pics! What sweet memories were made tonight :)
Then they got Dad in the fort to tell them a story. He came up with a story about a princess who lived in a castle that glowed pink at night. Ends up, it was the fire breathing dinosaur (yes...he said dinosaur) that made the castle glow. :) The girls were totally into it every single second. So cute!

SO good!!! and sweet!!! XO
These pictures are great! I love them!
So sweet! Love the part about a fire breathing DINO :)
It looks almost like Miss Gracie got a haircut in a few of these, but it might just be me or the low light in the pictures :) sad that y'all are missing the Olympics! :(
At least y'all are having fun :)
Priceless. What a great memory
I've heard you have to watch out for those fire breathing dinos!!! :-) I love love love these photos...better than the Olympics anyway! (I'll fill you in...more men diving is suits too small, Gabby goofed up bars (but still smiled a mile wide...love her!) indoor biking...very odd, men's beach volleyball in just the right amount of clothing. :-)). Hope you have great day...thanks for sharing!
You captured some darling expressions!
Absolutely precious! The best part was the story by Richard. I love hearing about sweet, imaginative daddies. :)
Made me laugh out loud about the dinosaur!!! Gotta love a Daddy!!!!
These are absolutely precious Jen!!!! They capture such sweet memories. One night we lost power and all 3 kids piled in Kate's bed and they told stories too. Dave took phone photos (I was not home) and while they are nowhere near as good as these, I cherish them too.
I love that Richard said dinosaur instead of dragon because that is the kind of stuff we do al the time too!!! it is exhaustion and age in our case.
I texted you...Kate wants y'all to come over Thursday for a fancy tea party!!!
Kim
