Time to Get Up!!

DSC_0116

The time has come for this mom to get up!! I can't even remember another time where we have had so many lazy days. There have been multiple days that Wesleigh has not even gotten out of her pjs! It has actually been really nice. Usually, I would be going completely stir crazy by now, but I have really enjoyed it.

I started working on our dossier at the beginning on Nov. and have spent an amazing amount of time and energy working on it. When it was time to start with Christmas decorating, etc. I was totally overwhelmed and had a hard time getting in the Christmas spirit. I was just so distracted. It wasn't until the week before Christmas (when the agencies were pretty much shut down) that I was really able to chill out and enjoy the season. It ended up being a wonderful holiday and I have really been able to relax and enjoy being with my family.

However....I think if I sit on this sofa any longer, my behind is going to grow three sizes! The kids are still out of school, but my agency is open again, the mail will run today and I have NO food in this house!! I need to get off my butt!!!

Many of you have asked where we are in the adoption process. Our homestudy has been reviewed once and, hopefully, will be approved today. That is the last piece I need to send off my I-800a! I am praying for God's favor with the immigration process...hoping things will move quickly and smoothly in all areas! The rest of my dossier is actually complete, so this CIS approval is the last piece!

Thank you all for your sweet comments on our big news! What a blessing it is to have a community of cheerleaders behind us! I'm sure there are many who think we are crazy to bring a 5th child into this family (they have a point ;-)), but I am so thankful to have friends who understand the bigger picture and are so supportive. Thank you all! I can't wait to share this next journey with you!! Hopefully, there will be fewer "freak-out" moments this time around, but I'm not promising anything!!

I just love that little bed head!!!! I am with you girl! Time to get out of my PJ's, shower, and put on some make-up... However, zero degrees is not making me very excited to venture to my car or to Target!!!!

Loved our little "chat" today!

I wish you were next door so we could just have the sweet tea and coffee brewing!

Hugs,
Di

There is nothing more beautiful than a child sleeping!! LOVE THIS PICTURE!!! Again, congratulations on the newest adoption. As I have always said "God's has already created the blueprint for our lives, it's up to us to "read and build" from those "plans"! We learn this 3years ago, when our Bree unexpectedly entered our lives! We were just preparing for an empty nest and had "plans" for this new phase in our lives....so we thought! God blessed us with this beautiful newborn and who knew that our plans were NOTHING compared to God's beautiful plans! Looking forward to this newest addition to your family! Sending continued blessings from Texas!!

Yep, my butt has grown about 4 sizes!
Back to school on Wednesday- so I will definitely be out of my pj's by then. : )

I thought this crappy paperwork only sent me into mind numbing cookoo land! I feel so overwhelmed sometimes that I can't remember ANYTHING! I can barely feed my family. I think it gives me depression.

Sounds like we are at the same point in our paperwork. You obviously have been more diligent, since I started before you!! : )

Like Sonia, I can't wait to see who!!

Love you!!

Oh, the boys....looks like my house with the guns and camo and all!! Trey still talks about Cade and asks when he's coming!! Hint, hint.

She looks so peaceful and beautiful! I wish you the best in you new endeavor. Are you taking all of your kids with you to China again? You must have way more patience than I do. Way more. Hannah and I are doing better. I miss you.
