Beauty and "the Beast"~
When Cade was in kindergarten, playing t-ball, one of our good friends gave him a nickname. That name was "the beast". Cade was so much bigger than everyone else and plays like a beast out there on the field. It stuck. We don't call him that often, but when it comes to sports...he's "the beast". When it comes to real life, he has the sweetest, gentle heart. I love that boy.
When I brought Wesleigh out to take these pics, Cade was about to leave for football practice. She insisted that he get in a picture with her. (He was actually holding her hand in the picture from yesterday). She adores Cade. He has made up all kinds of games to play with her. Their favorite is to take turns calling each other "baby". It is hysterical! Cade says, "You're the baby"....Wesleigh cracks up laughing and says, "you, baby". I'll have to get that on video.
We have another football weekend ahead. The weather is gorgeous, though, so I'm looking forward to watching my boys be beastly!!
Have a great weekend!

Don't you just love seeing how a sweet little girl changes your boys? Some of my favorite times are when they boys play so sweetly with their sister...especially when they are playing one of HER games (like mommy, daddy and baby :)
Cade is so handsome...he definitely doesn't look beastly to me :)

Cade sure is a handsome beast! He has a great head of hair. So glad that Wesleigh has so many people that love her, including brother Cade.

I have a 12 year old son and 4 year old daughter. This post reminded me so much of them. So sweet. They obviously adore each other.
