Who Dat?

I just thought I'd give you a peek at the newest Saints fan! I think she's the cutest Saints fan too! We'll be cheering the Saints to victory as long as our eyelids cooperate ;)
These are some pictures from yesterday. We went for a short walk to get a little sunshine, but it's really cold (not Beijing cold, though!!). She was just too cute in this outfit to not get a few pictures.

Wesleigh has started saying some English words. Her first one was "uh-oh". She uses that word ALOT. She has also says "no"and "look". She has the sweetest little voice and makes lots of sweet little sounds, even if we don't know what they mean.
Last night was a little better. We did try the Benadryl and think that worked. She didn't really wake up until 3:00, so that is progress. She was up from 3-6 though. She and I went back to sleep at 6:00 and slept till 9:30. I feel a little better today, but still dragging. Hopefully we'll make a little progress each day.
Tomorrow should be a big shock to her since she won't have her three brothers waiting on her hand and foot! I don't know what she's going to think about spending all her time with mom. I think we'll take a short trip in the car and try the carseat again. Should be a blast!
Overall, she is doing awesome. She is happy and seems to be having a great time exploring everything in this house. As I type, she's emptying a bag of trash I just collected. Oh well, she'll probably pick it all up next because that's what she seems to like to do.
I'm off to go play!
GEAUX SAINTS!!

She is so stinkin' cute Jennifer!!!! Seriously, how adorable is the Saint;s outfit. And you have the girly mom thing HANDLED! Do you hear me---precious! Heck, I have a daughter and I'm not as good at it as you are! Where did you get all her clothes? And more importantly, where did you get all her bows????? I can't wait to meet her. I know it may be some time before you can get to the office but we all would love for you to ride over one day so we can meet her. Only when you think the time is right for her though. I wouldn't want to scare her. You are truly blessed Jennifer!

What a cute Saint's fan! Sure hope you all make it through the game. It would have been a stretch for us! Glad you are feeling better today. Being up at night is so hard- I remember thinking I was the only person in the world up at that time. Was ALWAYS glad for morning to come! Wesleigh is just adorable in every picture! I know you just can't stop looking at her and believing that you have her. I still have days when I look at EK and think I am soooooooo blessed to be her mom. Love the bows! Ek always has a bow in! Happy Super Sunday!!!

Oh she is so precious and dressed so well for someone with jet lag! Does she have eczema or just dry skin? My daughter's cheeks always get chapped so we use triple paste cream from target.

I love her clothes!!! You dress her to the ninths!! Girls are so fun to dress all of the obws and accessories! I am glad to hear she is adjusting slowly but surely to the time change. Thanks for the warning. It will not come as a surprise when we come home now.

Go Saints!!

It is hard to believe we leave in less than 3 weeks now. OMW..... time is flying by.

I think adorable lil Wesleigh is going to be good luck to the Saints! I hope y'all can stay awake to watch the game. I hope tomorrow goes well. I am sure she will miss the boys but maybe the quiet time with Mama will be just what she needs too. Take a good nap together:)

Love,
Kim

I'm routing for the Saints too! She is just darling! Now, can she wear bows? Are you clipping bows into the headbands or are they all one piece?

Jennifer, oh she is precious, you are dressing her just darling....She loves dressing up too...otherwise those bows would not stay in for anytime...she is just beautiful!
It will be fun tuning in everyday to see her wardrobe!!!!

If my pastor's wife saw that Saints outfit, she'd be tempted to steal it. (Seriously.) Hope y'all are able to stay awake for the whole game - geaux Saints!

That Saints outfit is too cute! She wears it well :)

Jet lag...ugh! It seriously took 2 weeks before I felt completely normal, and then it's a whole new normal because you still have a new family member to get used to. But it will get a little better each day, you just have to survive it. It sounds like you are all doing wonderful! I hope the boys don't fall asleep at school tomorrow though :)

Congrats on your big win!!! And I must say...that is the cutest little fan I have ever seen. : ) Just adorable!!! Girls are sure fun to dress aren't they : )

Oh my word, Jennifer!...Wesleigh is just too precious. And you're not helping my shopping any by posting photos of her in SO many ADORABLE outfits!! WHERE did you get that pink one...and her adorable matching headband/bow?!...I think I need that for Khloe for when she is home!! ;)

It was such a joy following along on your journey. Di did a wonderful job posting for you ...she is such a sweethart! It won't be long now and she will be in China bringing home her sweet Sienna. WE are all so excited to see her in their arms, too!

Blessings from Minnesota... and congrats on the SB win tonight... though I still think it should've been the Vikes there instead!! ;)

Hugs,
Tanya

I am catching up on your first few days at home. She is so adorable and helped the Saints win! Cutie all the way!
Jet lag will be a problem for about a week, so keep working on a regular, routine schedule. Yes, naps should be no more than two hours each (is she having morning and afternoon?). Is there anyone else who can stay with you for a week (Grandmother, MIL, Aunt)? They could be cooking, cleaning and helping so that you can concentrate on adjusting and doing as much bonding (if you carried her in a baby harness on you in China, do that each day too). My advice to all is to have a separate person at your home for the first two weeks. Invaluable, just like bringing home a newborn. Hoping you get some sleep. I felt sleep deprived for three months, some experienced less, some longer, so you need to get help now...... (my humble advice).
Loved reading your posts, we have been home for 16 months!

Love the dark pink parka and animal print mittens and hat. Her clothes are adorable. What does she think of all these clothes... do you get a reaction from her? I am amazed that you can keep a headband on her at whatever age she is (22 months?) She is just too cute.

Obviously Wesleigh's outfit and induction to the "Saints Fan Club" was the ticket to their victory! Yeah Saints!!

As always the outfits and the cutie that is wearing them are adorable!

Blessings, Ashley

PS - Hope the jet lag is getting better!

I am quite certain that Wesleigh being the Saints' newest fan helped lead them into victory! ADORABLE outfit!! Worth my Colts taking the loss :) And seeing Drew Brees' little baby out there on the field celebrating - yes, it was a good day for mini Saints fans!!
