Visit to the 3rd Grade

I just had to get out today and do something. I decided it would be the perfect day to make a visit to Cade's class. Cade didn't know I was doing this today so I got to surprise everyone. They have been anxiously awaiting our visit, so it was an exciting day for everyone. Cade was so unbelievably proud to show Miss Wesleigh off! The class followed our blog while we were gone and they were able to ask me questions they had about China. It was alot of fun.

The school's theme this year is "rock 'n roll", hence the mirror ball in the class. Of course, Miss Fabulous LOVED the mirror ball!

I love the way Cade is standing back adoringly. When Wesleigh sat on his teacher's lap he said, "Aunt Mrs. (her name)". So cute. Wesleigh was a good sport and gave each child "five" with her hand. (We used germ-x right away!!)

I'm quite sure Braden will not be over-joyed with me today when he gets home because we didn't get to his room. I just didn't want to overwhelm her. Cade is in a t-building so it was easy to sneak in and out. Braden's will be next.

It was indeed a joyous time for all of us. I carried happiness in my heart ALL day long. She is surely a blessing to many. Thanks for posting the pics as my family will be thrilled!!! Wesleigh's sort of famous in our family, so now I'm famous too!!! Lovingly, Lauren McGowan

I can't believe she went to Cade's teacher and sat on her lap. Hannah won't go to anyone outside of me, daddy and bro's.

Oh Jennifer, I love this post! I can tell that Cade is such a great big brother and oh so proud of his sister. I love how he is looking at her in the photo of his teacher holding her. So sweet! Love that outfit she has on! And of course you KNOW how I feel about big bows. The bigger the bow, the closer to God! LOL!
I will miss seeing you and your family at CNY Sunday. I just knew we were going to be able to take pics of Miss Wesleigh this weekend. Take care girl!

Wesliegh looks so comfortable with him.

I will never forget the day I surprised Harry's kindergarten class by bringing Kate in too. SO fun! I don't think I had my camera though:(

Oh - how fun that Cade's class followed them to China - what an experience for him AND his class!! And to get to spread the word about China and maybe a seed will be planted in one of those kids' minds that will lead them to adoption one day!
