OK, I'm bored!

As much as I despise hearing those words come out of my boys' mouth, here I am joining in! I think things must just be too calm here. After the craziness of building the house, moving, Christmas, etc., things are just a little too quiet. Gives me too much time to think about China and how long of a wait it will be. No worries though, baseball is around the corner, and I chair a huge auction for our elementary school in the spring. That will get ramped up soon. I am also dabbling in the digital scrapbooking trend. I am going to a Creative Memories digital class in Feb., so I am looking forward to that. After the fire, I swore I would never scrapbook again, but this seems like the perfect balance. It gives me a great creative outlet, does something great with all those pictures, and won't eat up days of my time (hopefully). I am also going to the camera store tomorrow. I have a great digital SLR, but the pictures haven't been so great these days. Of course, it would help if there was something exciting to take pictures of!!!

So, I know...wah,wah, you all feel SO sorry for me!! (and I don't blame you!)LOL

That is so funny. How can you be bored with three boys??? No way!! I kind of know what you mean. When things are just hohum, I also get bored. I hate when my boys say this but I totally get it. I think I am fully ADHD and have to jump from thing to thing quickly or I do get bored. Oh well-- glad you have things that will be fun in the future!

I've been thinking about digital scrapbooking, too. Costco just had a coupon to get $30 off of Photoshop Elements, so I bought it. I've heard this is a great program to use for this. I'll be curious to see what you think about the Creative Memories program.

Hi,
I found you on another international adoption blogroll and stopped by your site for a visit. I'm also adopting, but from Uzbekistan. Good luck on your journey and I look forward to following your progress.

Want to come to my house? I could put you to work!! Seriously, I envy that you seem able to accomplish so much in a day. I could use a few of your tricks.

Try to enjoy a little boredom. In a few days you'll probably wish for them back! LOL Have fun with the digiscrapbooking. Glad you've found another outlet.

I get bored easily. I must be doing something creative as often as possible. I think you have a great outlet there and you are making an heirloom :)!
