Tis the Season!

Don't they know that I am trying to ignore the fact that Christmas will be here in a matter of weeks!! Right behind the office Christmas party that is planned to be at out new house (yes, the one that is not finished), which is right behind Thanksgiving, which could very well be at our new house as well, which is right behind (hopefully) moving into our new house (again, the one that is not finished!). I keep trying to forget all of this, but the mailbox just won't let me! This is the stack of catalogs that came TODAY!! Did you notice which one is on top? Don't quite know how I landed on that list. Don't get me wrong, I love catalogs, I'm just not ready to start the whole Christmas shopping at the moment.

I really need to get my Christmas shopping started. Our family is so large and we have so many people that if I don't get a jump on things, it's going to crazy.

We have been inundated with catalogs too! Guess I had better get busy because it will be here before we know it! Sophie is already talking about what she wants Santa to bring her! :)

I know... I think its the warm weather... but I am not in the mood either./

I have tried to cut way back last year and this year as well. Our disney trip after thanksgiving is a lot of our Chirstmas to the kids.
I am really trying to teach the kids Christmas is a time to think of those that truly need a gift. Not someone you can't even think of what to get them because they have so much stuff already.
oh I can't imagine having moving on my plate plus a party to plan. WOW.

Haha, that looks like my mailbox! I don't keep them though unless I plan on getting something, I look through them and they go right into recycling bin! :D
Good luck, I was thinking about your son's list the other day when my son Ethan came to me and asked for help with a letter to Santa. He said he only had ONE thing to put on and I was relieved. :)
Maybe I should start a collection with the money we WON'T be spending and send your way!! LOL

I ordered the Ivy Ling doll for Mallory several months back when it first became available. I have pulled it out and looked at it several times. I just love it and I am so glad AG finally came out with an asian doll. You will have to get one too! :)
