White No More

The white sand is gone. Just a couple of days before these were taken, Wesleigh got to play on the beach for the first time. These were taken on Sunday and they are heartbreaking. What's even worse, is that this is the very beginning. It was surreal to walk the beaches that had turned brown and it's still hard to believe when I look at the pictures.
Please pray with us that we don't have a hurricane this year!

This is absolutely heartbreaking!!!!!! Such a horrible disaster and it seems like nothing is being done about it!

Keep us updated - it's great seeing pictures from an actual person and not on the news!

Jennifer, I just came home from Disney World with my Goddaughter. We stopped off in Pensacola Beach yesterday and saw the same thing....my heart is breaking. I love that beach so much and they have had such a terrible time after Ivan. I had planned to spend the night out there...but I could not, too sad to see.
