Chinese New Year

Playing a little catch up here, but "better late than never" seems to be my motto lately.  We did not have big plans for Chinese New Year this year, but went to our local Chinese restaurant that I have come to adore.   The weather was yuck, but I did take a few pics of the girls.

This is Michelle.  She and her husband own the restaurant that we frequent.  It is by far, my girls' favorite place to eat and has become one of mine too!  Michelle loves my girls.  She tries to get them to remember their Chinese :)  She has a daughter the same age as my girls who still lives in China with her grandparents.  I can tell she misses her very much because of the way she hugs my girls. I cannot wait until she brings her to America!

This is Michelle's son, Lyons.  The girls love him and I think he's pretty sweet on them too :)  I about died when he held up his fingers for this pic.  Made me feel like I was back in China :)

These pictures made me smile! Looks like you had a wonderful time. We were very low key this year too as life is just busy right now! Shawn and 2 of the kids are leaving for Hungary on a mission project, gymnastics meets the last few weekends and just busy life. The girls look beautiful in their dresses!
