Trevor

My sweet little buddy, Trevor, went home to be with the Lord this morning.  He was an amazing little boy and I am blessed to have gotten to know this family over the past couple of months.

Oct 2013-2679b&w This image was taken Monday, when I brought Tiana to the hospital to say "goodbye" to her brother. It is probably the most emotional images I have ever taken. I had to get Allison's permission to use it.  I am honored to have been there.

When I die, give what's left of me away to children and old men that wait to die. And if you need to cry, cry for your brother walking the street beside you. And when you need me, put your arms around anyone and give them what you need to give to me.

Look for me in the people I've known and loved.

Love doesn't die, people do. So, when all that's left of me is love, give me away.

Thank you so much for sharing Trevor's story and for giving him such beautiful experiences during his final days with his family and friends. I cannot imagine what his mother must be feeling having to say goodbye to her precious little boy... surely something no parent should ever have to do. Thank you for loving her and little Tiana through it. This picture is such a blessing.
