We had a great weekend. Once again, it was filled with baseball. 2 games for Cade, and 2 for LSU. It is SO hot here! We've been in the mid 90's with high humidity. I don't know why, but every year we seem to be surprised when it's this hot. I guess it's just wishful thinking, but it's not even July yet!
This evening at the LSU game, we got to sit next to the most hateful, evil, ugly woman I think I have ever met. She thought we were sitting the 5 of us in to 4 seats (not that it would matter, it was bleachers and my boys' behinds take up half the room hers did). She was so angry that she kept telling her husband (who was sitting next to Braden) to scoot over. I tried explaining to her that we had five seats, but she put her hand up, closed her eyes and shushed me! If you know me at all, I don't do very well being shushed. I told Richard (who was at the other end) what was happening, and he switched seats with Braden. He practically sat on the mans lap, then said, "How you doin'?" It was pretty funny. We then proceeded to have a fight with them, again trying to explain that we had 5 seats, but she actually looked at me and pointed her finger and yelled at me to "shut up" many times. I proceeded to explain to everyone around us how absolutely uncalled for and ugly she was, and for whatever reason, she eventually got over it. I think if the boys had not been there, I would have really wanted to lay into her, but they were already having to witness her being so ridiculous, I didn't wan't them to watch me get into it with her. I just can't believe that I was there with my young boys, who just wanted to enjoy the game, and had to deal with such a true *itch. My blood is still boiling. Ended up, the tigers pulled it out in the 9th inning, and we really had a great time.
This week, the boys are all going to a camp at the school! I am looking forward to them going, but not so much the getting them (and myself) up. I have so much to catch up on here at home: laundry, flower beds, grocery shopping, etc., and I'll be happy to be able to do all of it without the boys.
Have a great week!
