My Very Own Farmer's Market

My dad used to have a garden when we were little. He quit for whatever reason, but now has decided to grow one again. Since he has a few acres now, he has plenty of room to grow whatever he wants. This summer, we have benefited from his hard work! We have eaten tomatoes, eggplant, zuchinni, cucumbers, lettuce, etc. We've even had grapes!! (only about 6 grapes though :) If you notice, there's a bottle of honey. That came from dad too. He is a beekeeper as well!
Thanks, dad, for all the yummy treats!

Since my dad retired, he has been around to spend time with the kids this summer. He took Bryce to the WWII museum a few days ago. As you can see, Bryce came home with a few souveniers. (As you can also see, Miss W had to be in the picture!)
Thanks, PawPaw!

One more reason to love your fabulous Daddy!!!! Hoping he and Linda have time to make a surprise visit since he has "time!" when we are in GS!!!!

So glad we got to chat today... I will have to tell you about the rest of my day later... I really needed that officer!!! (Or perhaps a therapist!!!)

Di

Wish I had a Green Thumb! I have a little garden this year and now that all of my plants are as tall as me or as wide as a fence.....NO FRUIT!!! My tomato plants are gorgeous, my pepper plants are huge, everything is green and that is amazing because it is 115 degrees every single day!! I fertalized, they get watered twice a day, they look so healthy, no bugs (what bug would stick around for this heat?) and NO FRUIT! So if your Daddy has any suggestions for a lil Arizona mama with a white thumb, can you please send them this way? Oh, saved the best for last, guess who's coming to Az in August? MJ!!! And guess who's having the first Trunk Show!!!! Yep, your a good guesser! Can you tell I'm a lil excited. Kisses from Lexi To W

Nothing like fresh fruit/veggies!! This post bring me great memories of when my mom had her garden. Never have I seen "prettier tomatoes' than she had in her garden. Your Dad seems like a fine Gardener and even greater Grandpa. *Bet the kids can SECOND that* :)
