The One Column'd Monster

So here it is! Aren't you impressed? This one column has been up for a week now. It was funny at first, now it's just annoying. Did you know that the inside of a column is styrofoam? These massive, strong-looking things could be destroyed by my boys in a heartbeat. They'll be stronger after they stucco them, but styrofoam? They have almost finished the paint color, though, and the doors have been primed. They also finally brought the kitchen island in today. I'll take pictures of the kitchen with cabinets tomorrow.

Just for clarification, the invitations going out was not brave on my part. Richard's office sent them out. I asked him yesterday if we had a back-up plan, and he said, "Well, the invitations went out yesterday". Whoo Hoo!!!

Oh, and by the way, you are all invited!! However, if I were you, I'd come in the summer when the pool is in.

Oh, I forgot to tell you. I went to Mistletoe Marketplace in Jackson today and I looked for that shirt everywhere. I could not find it. Oh well, maybe one day I will find it. I just love it!

Your house is going to be beautiful Jennifer! It is amazing how different architecture is in various parts of the country! We certainly don't see that style in the Midwest....but I love it! I'll be by for a visit when the pool is in! :)

Jennifer,

The house looks lovely (even with one column. I can tell you have an eye for things and I just know it is going to be amazing. Next time we DRIVE to Houston and we're passing trhough LA we are coming over!!! I would be so flipping out over the party because I am a worrier/perectionist. But I have a feeling you have more of a laid back personality. Either way...I know it will be Fabulous! I might just come:)
