Take Me Out to the Ballgame...

Well, it was definitely the perfect baseball weekend. The weather was perfect. I even got a little sun on these snow white legs! Braden had two games on Saturday, and then two more on Sunday. They ended up finishing 2nd in the tournament. They were so excited, but we really should have beat the team that placed 1st, so it was bitter-sweet. Here is a picture of the team with their trophy. Since Richard is the coach, the trophy is now being displayed proudly in Braden's room.

Here's a picture of Cade and another little brother. They had a blast running all over the ballpark. No, Cade doesn't have two black eyes, one of the player had "eye black" and put it on him.

And, here are the Ray's biggest fans. I am definitely the voice those boys hear constantly. They probably hear it in their sleep at night. Poor things. Bryce wasn't too thrilled about spending his whole weekend at the ballpark, but he was a trooper, and money for the concession stand goes a long way towards happiness.

I'm going to post another picture of Braden catching with his shades on because it was too cute, but I'm having an issue with my pics. In my exhausted state last night, I loaded them into a wierd file and I have to figure out how to move them.

We were basketballing all weekend. The waiting in betweens games was awful but the games were really fun. Love the picture of you. Too cute.
I'm looking forward to baseball. We had to turn in our forms last week so it should be starting up pretty soon.

Way to go Braden!

I love the team photo.

I'm not sure what kind of sports mom I will be...I'm hoping for a piano player or a violinist ;0--I was the pitcher on our summer softball team so I would prefer that to any other sport...
but enough about me...

Heh. In Michigan, baseball season won't start for another month -- although the first team meeting is later this week!

Oh to live in a warmer climate!

Congrats to the team!
