A New Do!

the in-between...
I have been waiting for this day for a LONG time! Wesleigh's hair has grown so fast and I love it, but the lion's maine was really starting to get to me.
She did awesome. She's been in the salon with me a number of times, so she was familiar with Faith and hopped right up in the chair. I was so proud of her. I love her new look! It does mean that the piggy tails probably won't work for a while, but it was a good trade for the mullet, I think!

I am a little concerned that I won't be able to get it to look so smooth and straight. Faith is amazing at styling hair. I keep offering for her to move in with us. I'd take regular blow-outs for rent!!

What to Do?

DSC_5985b

I have to say, this might be my favorite outfit right now! It is so adorable on her!!

I took Wesleigh to get her hair trimmed a little yesterday. All she did was straighten the back a little, but it made a huge difference! It looks like a cute little bob now. It is just amazing to think that 5 short months ago, her head was buzzed!!

We've had a pretty boring week. Richard was out of town and the weather has been just gross. I'm trying to come up with things everyone would like to do, but I'm at a loss. With a 13 yr. old and a 2 yr. old there aren't many things everyone would be interrested in. Today, my dad took Bryce to the World War II museum in New Orleans. Bryce is SO excited! Of course, I have plenty I could have been doing around here...toilets, laundry, floors, etc. What's the fun in that!! Any ideas?

Style Change

We have said "good-bye" to our headbands! Her hair has gotten so long that it poofs over the headband and looks so silly. This new look, though, makes her looks so much older! I do love the look, but am not very good at using those tiny pony tail holders yet. Not to mention the fact that she screams like I'm killing her while I'm doing it!!
I'm sure we'll both be pros before you know it!
