Happy Mother's Day!

With the craziness of our schedule lately, I was thrilled to spend an afternoon at home with all my kiddos.  After church, we grilled at home and just hung out.  Honestly, I can't remember the last time we were able to do that!

The girls came home from school with Mother's Day presents earlier in the week. I made them wait until today to give them to me, but they could hardly wait. They are so proud of their creations :) I love their questionnaires! Their answers are so funny, and totally show the differences in their personalities!!

Even though Gracie's eyes are closed, I wanted you to see her standing in this dress. I love it!! (It's Loves me Not)

Happy Mother's Day

Today was a different kind of Mother's Day. Richard and Braden were gone all weekend for an out-of-town tournament, but he did arrange for this amazing arrangement to come to the door Saturday.

The girls came home from school with flowers of a different kind. Sorry, Richard...they trump yours :) I have never seen anything like these before and think they are amazing. They are made from the girls handprints.

The boys were scattered, but I did get a picture with the girls today.  This is what I wanted them to wear to our afternoon activity, but you will see that I decided to let them have a total princess day :)

A couple of weeks ago I bought 4 tickets to Disney's Princess on Ice show.  I had no idea I had bought them on Mother's Day.  It could not have been better though because my mom went with us.

These two were so excited they could hardly stand it!  Just to be able to wear those dresses was enough to put them over the moon.  Wesleigh thought we were going to Disney World and kept saying, "I so essited to go to Disney World!"  lol...Truth is, she loved it so much there was no disappointment.  In fact, I never told her it wasn't Disney World :)

I love this picture even though Gracie is a little out of focus.

When Wesleigh wasn't jumping up and down saying "wow!" or "this is awesome", this is what she looked like.  Seriously...so cute!  Gracie was just as excited, but was sitting too close for me to get a shot.  Gracie was  interested in all the backstage things.  She noticed the American flag hanging and details like Cinderella's necklace and the lights on the ice.  It is so fun to see their differences.

Just a couple of shots from the show.  It was so fun and very entertaining.  I hope there's another one soon!  So worth the small fortune it cost!

At the very end, all the princesses came out, and we were able to see our beloved Mulan.  It was the perfect ending to a fun afternoon.

I don't have a picture but Gracie was asleep by the time we were out of the parking garage.  After spending most Mother's Days at the ballpark, it was fun to enjoy a girly day with my girls and my mom :)

BTW...church was totally for me today!  The title "Calm Down and Carry On".  I'm going to try to live by those words each day :)

Weekend News

Saturday was "wedding day" at our house Saturday. Faith has been doing my hair for many years and I offered my house to them for their wedding. At one point last week, when I was cleaning like crazy, I regretting making the offer. In the end, it was alot of fun and now, my house is amazingly clean!! I didn't take alot of pictures. I didn't want to be in the way, but here are a few.

Faith's family and friends came and transformed the house into a beautiful backdrop for this wedding. All I had to do was have it clean. They also picked everything up and left it exactly how they found it! They were amazing, and I enjoyed getting to know them all.

Throughout the day, I kept my cell close to get updates on all the ballgames my boys were playing. Braden was playing 2 games about an hour away. Richard was with him. Cade had 2 games locally. He was with the other coaches. Evidently, he had the play of his season, and neither of his parents were there to see it!! Of course, that's the way it would happen. PawPaw was there though, so it's ok. Bryce was at the Blue Angels airshow in New Orleans with the Sea Cadets and Wesleigh was hanging out with my parents.

One thing I did realize last week, as my parents helped me with Wesleigh a good bit, is that I don't really hate cleaning my house....I just hate cleaning my house with a toddler around! I adore Miss W but she not exactly a "help" when I'm trying to get things cleaned up!!

Mother's Day was spent at the ballpark, which has become a normal experience for us. I didn't even get to see my amazing mother yesterday, but I did make all my children come with me to the park :) Bryce wasn't very happy about it, but I was happy to have him there. He cost me so much money, though, I don't think I'll be making him come again :)

Hope you all had an amazing Mother's Day!! No new update on Gracie Joy yet!! Perhaps I'll have lots of exciting news this week? ;)
