Bryce's High School Graduation May 23, 2014

It is so hard to believe that my oldest is a high school graduate!  In fact, he will be moving out to attend LSU Tiger band camp in a couple of weeks!!!  We are so proud of him.

We are so proud of him, and he couldn't be happier!  Wesleigh had a meltdown afterwards though.  We couldn't figure out why until we got in the car and she was still sobbing.  She thought since Bryce graduated, he was leaving for college right then and we wouldn't see him again :(  So sweet!












Bryce moves into his dorm on the 17th and starts band camp that afternoon.  If he does well at band camp, he will be a member of the LSU Tiger Band!!  He has a campus job that he has been working this summer and is ready to start the next chapter of his life.  LOVE this boy!!

High School Band Comes to an End

I just can't believe it!  We watched Bryce give his last high school band performance last week.  I can't even express how much I have enjoyed Bryce being in the band through jr. high and high school. 

He has been a member of this quintet for the last couple of years.

Bryce has two band directors. I love watching them both direct. It's so fun to see teachers really love what they do, and make a difference in their students' lives!

So sad to see this chapter end, but very exciting to move on to the next chapter. Bryce had an audition at LSU last week and was invited to attend their band camp! We fully expect him to make it through band camp and be a member of the LSU Tiger band next year!! So proud of this boy!

Senior Prom!

Yes...I have been absent from the Bloggy world for a little while now.  I have had good intentions...and lots to post, but just haven't made myself do it.  Oh well...I'll try to catch up this week.  Yesterday was such a big day, though, that it pulled me right out of my blog funk.

Yesterday was Bryce's SENIOR prom!!  I cannot believe it!  Now graduation is really just around the corner!!  I am so excited for him and so proud of him that it's hard to be sad for myself (although, I am just a little).  He has plans to attend LSU in the fall and live in a dorm on campus.  That is something I never got to experience so I'm excited for him (and maybe living a little vicariously through him :)  He is also planning to try out for the LSU marching band.. I can't wait!

It was supposed to be raining during picture time and I was already stressing.  We lucked out though and the rain held off!  We were able to use my front porch because of the overcast skies, so it was perfect!

Bryce and Christian.  These two have been in school together since 1st grade!!!  Hard to believe it!  Christian's mom is actually Wesleigh's teacher this year.  I love that they have grown up together!

I will try to get moving on this blog!  Gracie's birthday is Tuesday, so I will definitely have a post for that :)

Senior Pep Rally

What a crazy weekend we had...all centered on Bryce :) Senior pep rally was Friday morning. It was bitter-sweet to see all these kiddos, who I have known since kindergarten, ready to graduate.

Homecomings 1 and 2

This weekend has been jam packed!  I don't think I've taken this many pics in a LONG time!  Our biggest activities were Cade's and Bryce's homecomings.

Cade has his dance on Friday night.  They don't do the boy/girl date thing yet, so their crazy bunch got together and took pics :)

Bryce's dance was Saturday night.

This is my favorite picture of the night :)  The girls always call their brothers "my prince", but when they get dressed up....they go nuts!  They were so cute with their princess dresses on.

I cannot believe this is Bryce's senior year.  Where does the time go?
