We had a great playdate yesterday. Margie and Jill came from Mississippi with their precious girls (Macie, Raegan, and Lilli). And I met a new friend who lives pretty close with her daughters Abba and Kaylyn. The girls had a great time together, and I thoroughly enjoyed the company!!
This is the best we could do. We have 1 MIA, but the other 5 semi-cooperated. lol...
Wesleigh was all about the Mama-razzi. She posed the whole time.
Wesleigh Jane and Macie Jane
We headed to the park for some fun. Wesleigh HATED the sand!! We have some serious work to do before the beach!!
This is as close as she got to walking on the sand. I had her outside today walking barefoot on the grass (which she hates) to try and get over the texture thing.
She is so my daughter. She LOVES shoes (and the blingier the better!). She found Abba's shoes and fell in love with them. She wore them the whole time we were there.
We had such a great day. I was so excited to visit with these moms. I can't wait to do it again!!

Oh, how much fun!!!
Jen,
SO SO SO glad I can fin ally see your blog!!! Love these adorable shots. Looks like a fun play date.
I wish you luck with the grass thing! Kate has been home 3 years and STILL will not stand on grass. Look up sensory integration for some steps and techniques. It isn't best to force the issue but there are other things to ready their body for sensory input. I'll tell you about it on the phone. Will had it and Kate has a bit too. Although she is fine with sand. She WILL not play at a park with mulch or pebbles.
Wesley posed so nicely for her mama. I'm not surprised she doesn't like sand... you said she was rather fastidious about clean hands, etc. Maybe her brothers can entice her with a sandcastle or you can buy her beach shoes instead of sandals.
Aww, these are great pictures!!! That is great that you all got to get together! :)
What an adorable group of blessed girls!! Lauren McGowan
Wesleigh is just PRECIOUS!!! I just found your blog this morning and my heart is SOOOO full! I rarely have time to blog hop, but I am up and it is quiet and I saw this on Ashia's blog roll and wow, I will be back!!! We were logged in to China last June and are waiting on our daughter(s) (we asked for twins...slim chances, but I guess you never know!) I LOVE your blog, and I see we share many of the same passions...monograms, bling, tutus, ginormous bows, & Matilda Jane. I just had a baby girl after my precious 2 boys, 11 weeks ago and the girl already has a ton of MJC and she can't even wear it yet!!! However, I did get a 12 month knot on her as a long dress (my girl is big!)! Anyway...so EXCITED to find your blog. I can't wait to keep reading, but I had to stop here and comment! Blessings to you...
