There have been many adjustments in this household the past few weeks. We have only lived in this house for 2 years, so I have never had a toddler here. It has also been 7 years since I've had a 2 year old, so I am relearning lots!!
One of the most comical things I've found is the constant surprise of what you might find in very odd places. I started taking pictures of these happenings because they crack me up.
Not only are my shoes in the trash can, but the trash can is in front of the fireplace.
This is what she does when I'm trying to get ready in the mornings. Richard found this when he went to take a shower a few days ago ;)Do you know how mad I would have been if I'd been looking for this shoe? Luckily, I was looking for potatoes!
And this would be the washing machine.
We have this post office crate sitting in the dining room from when we got back from China. It now holds the tupperware (and a bow that I spent a good long time trying to find the other day!). ...and since the tupperware is now in the postal crate, the cell phone should go in the tuperware drawer ;)

Jennifer, this post has put a smile on my face this Monday morning. She is absolutely, positively, with out a doubt the cutest thing ever....and apparently a comedian! The shoe in the potato drawer is my favorite!!
She is a sneaky one! I love the last picture of her! She has the most beautiful little smile :)
That's hilarious! I saw that waste basket by the fireplace the other day and thought someone put it down on the way to emptying it and forgot it! LOVE that last picture!
Toddler fun! She is such a doll!
We have resorted to a huge gate so she's locked either in the living room or in the hallway/kitchen and we have put locks on some of the cabinets. I didn't do that with Collin, but I did with Cody at our old house. However, Hannah got into the pellet stove the other day unknown to me until I saw the black soot all over her clean clothes and hands. Thankfully we haven't used the stove in a long time.
Oh my, I have to say this made my morning!!! I can just see you running around trying to find the bow, the shoe...only you! She is adorable from start to finish!! Love you friend!
Oh, makes me miss those days. Enjoy because they grow up way too fast!
She is a doll. Love seeing how she fits in with your family. I'd say she's quite comfortable!
OMW.. I can't get enough of the cuteness.. she is toooo sweet..
thanks for making me smile..
Hugs..
I spend a good portion of my time looking for things that have been slipped into spaces they don't belong too :)
Love how you're documenting all of that!
Cute post!!! Tell Wesleigh she gave me good insight on whereas to find's Bree Red school shoe! I have searched high and low and can't find it, I guess I will head to the pantry when I get home!! Toddlers.....they are just too funny!!
That is so funny! Love reading about the funny things Wesleigh is doing- she's just precious!!! What a great memory!!!
Blessings!
What a hoot! She is just adorable!
LOL well they keep us on our toes don't they LOL
That is hilarious, I think! My little busy body does the same thing. I can never find anything and struggle to keep up everyday! I love it. We have booby-trapped our house to keep her safe but she manages to get into stuff anyways. The new thing is moving chairs all around the house to reach things we have up high to keep away from her. Just looking at Wesleigh's expression you could tell she is a little firecracker. Enjoy it, they do grow too fast.

She is so funny!! Sarah was the same way at 2.....in fact, she still "picks up" things and stashes them. I call her our little bag lady:)

Love her...she is full of personality and keeping you on your toes!
Too funny. I love the picture of Miss Wesleigh from the weekend!
Too cute - those pictures!!! I am sure though that Miss Wesleigh put each thing in a perfectly logical place to her - if only we could read their little minds:)
Also where did you get the dress and hat from the last picture - which are absolutely adorable by the way?? I would love to get something like that for my friend's daughter!
Blessings, Ashley
